It’s time to turn trash into treasure! The TRASHION exhibit is back on display here at Galleria Dallas.
The 2025 HKS TRASHION Show is centered around the idea of “Time for Change.” This concept was chosen to challenge team members to reflect on fashion’s past, reimagine its future, and take action in the present. Designers at HKS Inc. explored how time can impact responsibility socially and environmentally and they explored creative possibilities for materials and a thematic message.

What are TRASHION pieces?
Pieces created for TRASHION are envisioned and assembled by teams from HKS offices across the world. The garments they design are made up of reclaimed, recycled, and repurposed materials that can double as a storytelling element in their creative process. The concept of TRASHION and the corresponding TRASHION Show work in tandem with HKS Inc.’s practice incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles in their designs and architectural projects.
What is Circular Fashion?
The premise of TRASHION is to collect, reimagine, and utilize everyday items that are destined to end their lifecycle in a landfill – a concept that can be coined as Circular Fashion. Household items like coffee filters, Amazon packaging, bubble wrap, architect sheet paper, and more were repurposed into dresses, hats, skirts, and vests that showcase the potential impact little bit of creativity can have on minimizing waste and pollution through circular models in the fashion industry.

These one-of-a-kind pieces and an interactive materials display are featured on Level 1 of our shopping center near Sephora and the Outdoor Plaza.
