Devon Deshaun Francis is a self-taught artist whose work pulses with cultural pride and expressive energy. A Waco, Texas native, Devon discovered his love for design and fine art while studying at Art Institute of Dallas and his talent has grown to encompass collaborations with brands including Wingstop and Dallas Trinity FC. He uses a technique he calls “Pebbled Melanin,” which is inspired by inspired by stippling/pointillism, to portray the textured people of his culture and other minority groups. Devon’s work aims to give voice to underrepresented communities in the art world in a refreshing, elevated way.
