HKS, a Dallas-based global architecture and design firm, is inspired to reduce the impacts of climate change and social inequalities. By reusing, recycling and repurposing everyday materials to create one-of-a kind garments, TRASHION allows HKS’ designers to explore creative ways to reduce waste and demonstrate how design can help overcome worldwide environmental and social challenges.
The theme for the 2024 edition of TRASHION is The Elements: water, air, earth and fire. Garments must show resilience against the elements, highlight the harmony or struggle between fashion and nature, or embody an element. Materials for TRASHION’s garments must be 90% reused or repurposed.
The fashion-forward garments will be featured in two window displays on Level 1 in the shopping center.
