The 2024 Summer Olympic Games take place July 26 – August 11. Paris is the host city for most sporting events, as well as 16 other cities spread across France. Unlike in years past, the Opening Ceremony will take place on the Seine River, marking the first time that the ceremony has not taken place inside a stadium.
