When shoppers ask "for something Texan" we know just where to send them! Flea Style is a Texas-based lifestyle brand that offers beautiful bohemian-meets-Southern goods. Originally a quarterly pop up shopping event featuring a wide range of vendors, the brand transitioned into a fixed retail store. Expect apparel, accessories, gifts, vintage cowgirl boots and their famous hat bar experience!
Flea Style opened their Galleria Dallas doors in the summer of 2022 and has hosted everyone from Miss America contestants to bachelorette parties and teen birthdays!
We sat down with owner Brittany Cobb to talk about what's happening in store!
What can shoppers expect when they step inside?
Our Galleria Dallas store houses our famous hat bar experience in addition to a wide selection of our women’s boho-western apparel, accessories and goods. We invite shoppers to enjoy our custom hat experience where they can decorate a trucker, straw or wool hat alongside our amazing stylists to create a one-of-a-kind design that they’ll cherish forever. At this location, we also sling an exclusive collection of 60+ pairs of vintage cowboy boots collected all over the country just for this spot.
What is the most asked for item?
Our hats are by far our most popular item in store. Whether you’re looking for a casual trucker style or classic western curled brim, we have a wide range so everyone – men and women! – can find something they love. We’re known for customizing hats from embellishing them with vintage brooches and fabrics to burning and branding cool designs.
Talk us through The Hat Bar.
We’re home of the original hat bar where shoppers design the hats of their dreams bellied up to beautiful saloon-style wooden bars. To start, we work with customers to find the perfect hat style that will become our canvas. We have dozens of options from western wool and straw curled brims to flat wide brims and trucker hats. We even have styles for kids. From there, we help the customer select accessories that speak to them to bring their hat to life from the comfort of our barstools (complete with a beverage, if they want). We’re known for our handmade and vintage offerings we collect at flea markets and sell from American makers.
What boot brands do you carry?
We have so many boot styles! Since we sell a lot of vintage pairs, you can find a large assortment of brands from Lucchese and Frye to Tony Lama and Justin. We also started selling a new line we collaborated on with a family in Mexico we’re loving. We currently have four styles in pink, peacock blue, silver and white.
What are your thoughts on the Cowboy Core trend?
I think the Cowboy Core is here to stay! It’s always been around, it’s just amped up due to television, music and social media that has bubbled it up to a bigger platform. Denim, hats, and boots have been around for generations and here to stay. What makes the “craze” fun is that the look can have so many different interpretations. That’s what’s so special about our stores: They allow you to wear the western look but how you feel best in it. Whether you want a wild and funky hat or simple and sophisticated look, we can make it happen for you – and more importantly, with you. We’re all about the experience bringing your western dreams to life.

Do you host private parties?
We love to host events! Our hat bars are designed to work with a single walk in or large birthday or bridal party. We have an online reservation system that makes the process easy peasy and allows people to reserve stylists so there is no wait and we’re all set up and ready for the special occasion. We also have large parties in store that we can customize per person.
