On Display: Jenny Grumbles

Audrey Miranda | Assistant Director of Marketing March 18th, 2025

Equal parts Californian and Texan, Jenny Grumbles is well known for her role on A&E’s hit series, “Storage Wars: Texas.” She realized her passion for painting at age 14, but only recently combined her loves of trash-to-treasure and fine art with the Cereal Series, which features portraits made entirely out of cereal boxes. Fueled by caffeine and loud music, Grumbles also paints commissions and creates designer wallpaper, all in pursuit of bringing joy to her clients’ homes. Grumbles founded her own art studio in California and previously owned a vintage home-décor business, Uptown Country Home, in Dallas.

One of Galleria Dallas’ priorities is sharing the local arts community with its shoppers. For our spring 2025 Artist Collective exhibit, Jenny’s vibrant mixed-media pieces are on display. Come see Dolly, Kendrick, Tupac & Luka made entirely of cereal boxes on canvas!

“My work has an emphasis on color and light, as does my lifestyle,” Jenny said. “What draws me to a canvas is capturing the way light hits a subject.”

Jenny, who earned her degree at Southern Methodist University, lives with her son, Thompson, in Dallas, where they eat a lot of cereal.

Jenny’s exhibit is in the Art Window at Galleria Dallas on Level 1, next to Sephora through April.
